Particularly in light of today’s social climate, each year sees a new wave of legislation and litigation that further clarifies the grounds upon which the state prohibits and attempts to prevent harassment, retaliation, and discrimination. This presentation will address some highly sensitive challenges and will provide the latest updates to harassment, discrimination, and retaliation law as applicable to California employers, and will provide strategies for avoiding running afoul of applicable law.
