Why Prop 45 WILL Hurt Health Insurance Agents
September 18, 2014 @ 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

- Gives one politician, the Insurance Commissioner, sweeping new power over every aspect of health care coverage, including premiums, benefits, networks and commissions. It could even give the Commissioner control over the treatment options that health insurance covers.
- Creates a massive new bureaucracy that will cause chaos in the market by delaying product launches, second guessing the Department of Managed Care and interfering with Covered California.
- Will greatly reduce the number of plans – and potentially the number of carriers – you can bring to your clients and prospects.
- Creates a new system that pays the measure’s trial lawyer sponsors to file costly lawsuits – ultimately paid for by consumes and insurers.
A broad coalition of businesses, unions, doctors, hospitals, insurers and agents have come together to educate the public about why California can’t afford Proposition 45.
Learn how to help defeat this job killer. YOU are an important part of this fight.
